Our cards are printed in the UK using vegetable inks on 100% recycled board, paired with a recycled kraft envelope.
We don’t use cellophane sleeves with our direct to customer orders. More and more of our stockists are choosing to take our cards cello free too, but where our stockists do require cello sleeves, we use a biodegradable alternative.
Our calendars, notepads and art prints are printed in the UK with vegetable inks, and are CO2 neutral. As with our greeting cards, we only use cello packaging where our stockists require, and these are a biodegradable cellophane alternative.
Our direct customer packaging is a mix of board and recycled board, all of which is recyclable with most UK curb-side recycling.
We will soon stop printing dispatch notes to include with orders, instead relying on digital receipts unless otherwise requested.
For trade orders, we re-use as much packaging as possible from the deliveries that we receive. We use eco, fully recyclable tape and recycled paper packing inside boxed deliveries so that our stockists can fully recycle their package once they have received our products.
We donate any packaging that we do not use (bubblewrap, for example) to businesses neighbouring our studio.
We are discontinuing this year our Christmas card boxes with a window. After using the last of our stock of this type of box, we will be re-packaging our Christmas boxes in a fully recyclable board alternative.
If you have any questions or suggestions of green alternatives for us, we’d love to hear from you. Find our details on the contact us page.
